I won’t say I’m a unicorn… but there aren’t a whole lot of gals out there with the experience I bring to the table.
In the corporate world, I was a marketing strategist and account executive, directing campaigns for influencers like Brene Brown, Ali Edwards, and the ladies at A Beautiful Mess; Las Vegas casinos and resorts; popular consumer goods you’d find in any grocery store, and Cultivate What Matters, the shop that created the ever-popular PowerSheets goal setting planners.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
Whether you're a product or service-based business owner, brick-and-mortar or online, this retreat program is for you! We have had just about every kind of business represented at our event. From newbies to established businesses, you will find this experience beneficial to your business.
HOW BIG IS THE GROUP?
We intentionally keep our experiences intimate, with less than two dozen attendees and staff. This is so you can get 1:1 time with Amber Housley and her coaching.
IS MY BUSINESS A GOOD FIT?
I have 15+ years of experience working with and executing marketing strategies for both product and service-based businesses, so I firmly believe the experience in this retreat is applicable to both business types and lengths of experience.
WHO WILL I ROOM WITH?
Bring a friend and you can room together! Just be sure and include each other’s names on your registration and we’ll match you up. Coming alone? Don’t fret, about 95% of attendees who come, don’t know anyone either. Some of Amber’s best friends in the creative industries are those she randomly met through shared rooms at conferences. We’ll match a roommate for you and let you know a few weeks out who they are in advance
CAN I BRING MY SPOUSE, CHILDREN, OR FAMILY?
We believe that you are deserving of spending 4 days focused completely on you and your business! Because of this (and insurance policy reasons), only participating attendees are allowed on the property during our event. Many attendees do extend their time after the retreat to enjoy Nashville with their loved ones.
WILL I ACTUALLY GET TO SPEAK WITH AMBER?
YES! There are so many masterminds and conferences out there promising expert guidance and input, but then the leader keeps the group at arm’s length. That’s not how the Inspired Retreat works! I am right there with you, answering questions and offering advice.
WHAT IF I HAVE A DIETARY NEED?
Just let us know in advance when registering and we’re happy to accommodate you! Our host venue is able to accommodate most common food allergies or dietary preferences. Our friends with strict gluten-free, dairy, and vegetarian needs have been extremely pleased with how our host venue is able to prepare food with careful thought and care (and still tastes delicious, too!).
DO I HAVE TO STAY ON THE PROPERTY?
Yes, the full experience includes the full accommodations and cannot be removed. We don’t want you to miss out on all the fun we have planned once the sun goes down at night.
WHAT’S THE WEATHER LIKE?
In the Spring, expect temperate days with moderate humidity. It is often on the warmer side (low 80s) with a pop-up rain shower at this time of year. It’s best to watch the 7-day forecast because it can often change quickly!
HOW DO I GET THERE?
After flying into BNA, the main Nashville International Airport, our host location is easily accessible by rental car via a 45 minute drive. Meet up with fellow attendees ahead of time in our private Facebook group to coordinate a rental car with those arriving the same time as you.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION?
Everything — You simply arrive via your own transportation, and we take care of the rest! Your room, food and drink (including a few adult beverages) and all content and materials, events and experiences. Quite simply, the only thing not included is your airfare, transportation to/from our host location, and if you’d like an additional glass of wine or beer outside our offerings.
WHAT IF I HAVE PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS?
This retreat may not be for you if you have physical limitations. Our host venue property is creekside lodge and includes many opportunities for stairs across the property. We want you to feel at home and at ease in our experience and the last thing we want is for you to feel overwhelmed in moving from each session.
I’M BOOKING MY FLIGHT, WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AND DEPART?
Our program typically runs from Sunday at 4pm CT to Wednesday at 10:30am CT. It is about a one hour from the (BNA) Nashville Airport to Evins Mill. When making travel arrangements, it is best to plan to attend the full program so not to miss any of the special planned experiences.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR, PACK, BRING?
We will provide a full packing list and other helpful details for the retreat in March. You'll also schedule a private call with our Retreat Concierge to answer any questions you have and make a plan for what your focus will be during our retreat experience.
THIS IS A LARGE INVESTMENT FOR MY BUSINESS AND I’M CONCERNED ABOUT TAKING THE LEAP.
We firmly believe the content and experience will more than meet—and will exceed—the investment of registration. Be sure and read our testimonials from past attendees who explain how the benefits far exceeded the investment. You should know this is not our first conference or workshop production. We have been planning events from corporate retreats to large- scale productions for over 15 years. You can count on professionalism and a well-managed event experience for yourself as an attendee!
WHAT KIND OF WOMEN WILL ATTEND INSPIRED?
The majority of Inspired attendees in the past have ranged in age from mid 20s to mid 50s. Most are looking to connect with like-minded business women that they can't find at home. That said, we welcome women of all ages and backgrounds! However, you must be 21 years of age or older to attend. We’ve hosted an extremely wide-range of business owners... just a sampling: boutique shop owners, coaches and consultants, graphic and stationery designers, wedding planners, real estate and home interiors, photographers, book authors, clothing designers, interior designers, influencers, web designers, digital product shop owners, wardrobe stylists, calligraphers, online retailers, party suppliers, a wide-range of Etsy shop owners and MORE!
CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE PAYMENT PLAN?
We are pleased to offer a payment plan. A non-refundable payment is due immediately to hold your seat. We will hold a credit card on file that will automatically file payments on set dates. Payment Plan installments that are more than 2 days past due will forfeit registration and your seat will be sold.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Due to the nature of this intimate event, details are planned and personalized far in advance for each of our guests, so all deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable. However, when notice is given via email at least 12 weeks prior to the event, deposits and payments may be used toward a future Amber Housley experience or product until December 31, 2025.
COVID-19 Guidelines for INSPIRED INTENSIVE RETREAT
We successfully hosted this intensive retreat in April 2021 and October 2021 with no issues and we believe these added guidelines will help us ensure an even more safe experience for all those in attendance this April 2022.
We have taken measures to ensure the health and safety of guests staying at our experiences. However, there is no way to eliminate the inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 that comes with an in-person event. By attending this event, you voluntarily agree to assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. You agree not to attend if you test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to attending our retreat or display symptoms associated with COVID-19. Bottom line, please be forthcoming to keep us all safe and healthy.
- Amber Housley requires all guests to confirm via email (hello@amberhousley.com), no cold or flu-like symptoms 48 hours from arrival.
- We recommend obtaining proof of a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to your travel.
- We ask guests to be respectful of other guests and our staff and keep a safe distance. Masks are not required, but we ask that when unable to safely distance from others, guests use their discretion.
- We ask that guests bring their own masks.
- Unfortunately, testing is not fool-proof and might be taken pre-incubation. We must also acknowledge the potential for travel exposure, post-test results/arrival. Although we will not require on-site mask-wearing, we do ask that you wear a mask when appropriate such as heading out into the local community.
- Our host venue has many ample spaces to work outside or inside and spread out with open-air ventilation via doors and windows. As such, you will want to bring layers in case of cool weather.
- Most meals will be enjoyed outside under covered porches or you may take boxed lunches to the place of your choosing.
- You are an adult and will take personal responsibility for your comfort and risk level.
COVID Cancellation Policy
All deposits/payments are non-refundable but can be used towards a future Amber Housley experience or product until December 31, 2022 with a notice via email and your reason is COVID related.
Amber Housley requires all guests to confirm a lack of COVID or flu-like symptoms 48 hours from arrival via email. Amber Housley cannot offer any COVID related credits any later than 48 hours from arrival on-site.
Once onsite if you present symptoms or feel sick then we will ask you to self-isolate and we will provide all the help we can, which may include: help to get you to an off-site accommodation location, test, and treatment if necessary.
We strongly recommend purchasing refundable airline tickets for and also travel insurance that covers all possible issues related to travel including delays or change of schedules if this is a concern for you.
